Female boxer Kara Ro made her return to the ring earlier this month when she took on Liz Sherman (3-2-0) in Detroit, Michigan on October 6th.
This was Kara's first match in three years and Kara won via unanimous decision.
Kara's last fight was back in 2008 when she defeated Lakeysha Williams in Mount Pleasant, Michigan again by unanimous decision.
She retired afterwards due to a back injury.
Earlier this year, Kara was the victim of an armed robbery at her gym in Detroit but she hasn't lost a step since her last fight.
She said after the fight that she was looking forward to her next fight and wanted to pick back up with her boxing career at the age of 35.
Kara's record is now 17-0-0.
Besides her career in the ring, Kara is a a co-host on the morning show of Country 95.9 FM, a ring announcer in the Detroit area and is the trainer of seven-time Canadian champion and three-time world champion Mary Spencer.
